Welcome to the Association, the trade association of non-life and life insurers. We represent more than 95 percent of all insurers in the Netherlands. Reinsurers, insurtechs, premium pension institutions and companies involved in bank savings are also affiliated with us. As an advocate for all members, we respond to social developments and connect the insurance sector with society. The interest of insured persons is paramount. 

Every day we are in dialogue with the government, The Hague and European politics, various other (branch) organizations, regulators, NGOs and the media. Together with members and other stakeholders, we work on solutions to problems relating to, for example, old-age provisions or social security in our country, but also to the security of residential homes or the consequences of climate change.
